HUTCHINSON, Kansas - A 34-year-old Hutchinson man was killed Friday morning in a motorcycle crash.
Authorities say Benjamin Branton was headed eastbound on 9th street when he veered over the center line and hit a parked SUV.
It happened in the area of 9th and Walnut Street before 3 a.m.
No one witnessed the wreck and Branton was found by someone who came on the scene shortly after.
Emergency crews rushed him to the Hutchinson Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Alcohol was found at the scene but officials are still investigating if it contributed to the fatal accident.
