WICHITA, Kansas -- Police say a man who was upset that people laughed at him tried to get revenge with a torch.
Police say the 43-year-old man got into a fight at BC's Bar and Grill, 4423 S. Broadway, Sunday evening. During the fight, he was punched in the face and people started laughing at him.
He left the bar, but police say he returned with a torch and set the back fence on fire.
A passerby saw the flames and flagged down a police officer. The officer arrested the suspect around 12:15 Monday morning.
The fire was stopped before it could spread to the bar.
Police say two people were in the bar when the fire was set, so the suspect was booked for aggravated arson.
