TOPEKA, Kansas - Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt confirmed Monday that bond has been set at $2 million in the case involving Bryant Alan Seba.
Authorities in Pratt arrested 21-year-old Bryant Seba Thursday and booked him on suspicion of the murder of a pregnant woman.
Another man was also critically injured in the incident and had to be taken to a Wichita hospital.
Officers say Seba got into an argument with a man in a nearby apartment building leading to a disturbance out in the front lawn.
That's when authorities say Seba brought out a rifle and started shooting hitting the pregnant woman and the other man.
Seba's first appearance in Pratt County District Court is scheduled for Aug 5 at 3:30 p.m.
Criminal charges will be filed prior to first appearance. The nature of those charges is under review.
