Shooting leaves one man critically injured

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Two men are being treated for injuries after an argument lead to an early morning shooting.

It happened in the 3100 block of East Stafford at 1:20 a.m.

A witness says he heard gunshots outside his home. When he went to look, he saw a 19-year-old male laying in the street with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

A 25-year-old man says he and the victim got into an argument with the gunmen at the 300 Club at Harry and Woodlawn.

When the two men drove away, they were followed to East Stafford. The suspects drove up in Dodge Charger, opened fire, wounding the 19 year old.

The victim was taken to Wesley Hospital with critical injuries. The 25 year old received minor injuries and police are unsure whether it came from bullet fragments or shattered glass.
