WICHITA, Kansas - A Wichita man accused of neglecting nearly one hundred pit bulls was in court on Wednesday to see if he will go on trial for the crime.
Jerry Southern was arrested last year near Newkirk, Oklahoma after authorities found dozens of dogs chained up and living without food and water.
Southern was originally charged with 70 counts of animal cruelty.
If found guilty, he could face a maximum of five years in prison for each of those counts.
