WICHITA, Kansas-- One man was injured when his car ended up in the Big Ditch at I-235 and Zoo Boulevard Wednesday night.
Officials say the man was turning onto Zoo Boulevard from Windmill road around 9:45 p.m.
He crossed over all the lanes and went down the embankment into the Big Ditch.
His car hit a railroad bridge and a natural gas pipeline as it rolled over and over, but the gas line wasn't ruptured.
The man, in his late 20's to early 30's, was trapped in his car until rescue crews could get him out.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say he wasn't speeding and a medical condition may have caused the crash.
