People need to quit worrying about there lawns, lawns are a waste of money, time and resources, they need to be thinking about the future generations having enough water to just stay alive. Insted of spending 27 millon on putting water back into the Equus Beds Aquifer start out lawing water sprinklers, car washes, ect... anything that use water in a wastefull manner. The city also needs to look at revising there water useage policies, come on people use a little common sence here. If we take care of Mother Earth she will take care of us.

If the city is interested in conserving water, why do they encourage wasting water? I recently figured out that because of the tiered water rates, if I waste an extra 20,000 or 30,000 gallons in the winter, it will save me over $100 in the summer (after paying for the wasted water). This is because it will raise my average winter usage, which means more of my summer usage is at the cheaper rate. Its ironic the city is looking at saving water, while I'm looking at how to use more BECAUSE OF THEIR POLICIES!
