Teen hit by bus in SE Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas – A Wichita school bus driver is on administrative leave after a student was hit Tuesday afternoon.

It happened near Southeast High School just after kids were getting out of class.
Investigators say the 17-year-old was struck when he crossed a driveway used by busses when they exit the school grounds. The student was rushed to the hospital and at last check was in fair condition.

The bus driver was suspended because of school policy while the incident is being investigated.
