WICHITA, Kansas – A 45-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition early this morning after police say she was stabbed in the head eight times with a screwdriver by her husband’s 20-year-old girlfriend.
Police say the 45-year-old woman confronted her husband and his pregnant girlfriend in the drive thru of a Sonic in the 2900 block of E. 21st St. around 1 o’clock when the girlfriend allegedly grabbed a screwdriver and proceeded to stab her eight times in the head.
The victim suffered serious injuries. The 20-year-old girlfriend was booked into jail on charges of aggravated battery and making criminal threats.
