WICHITA, Kansas - Transportation Security Officers at the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport intercepted a firearm in the carry-on bag of a passenger Thursday afternoon at the security screening checkpoint.
The firearm was the second one confiscated this year in Wichita.
The .25 caliber Targa GT firearm and magazine were unloaded.
TSA notified law enforcement-in this case and has the authority to impose a civil penalty on the passenger.
