Wichita police searching Chisholm Creek Park for Lucas Hernandez

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Wichita police are once again searching Chisholm Creek Park for Lucas Hernandez. Wichita police said they received new information that led to today's search. The park was searched earlier this week.

WPD officer Paul Cruz addressed the media following the search of the park. He said he had no updates to share resulting from the search. He also encouraged people to continue to share information with the police.

"If you have any information, no matter how minimal or insignificant it might be, please call the tip line," said Cruz.

Last weekend, the 5-year-old boy was reported missing in the 600 block of Edgemoor. Lucas' stepmother, 26-year-old Emily Glass, said she last saw Lucas in his bedroom at approximately 3 p.m. Saturday prior to her taking a shower and falling asleep. He was reported missing around 6:15 p.m. Despite extensive searches by local, state and FBI officials, the boy has not been found.

On Wednesday, the stepmother was booked into the county jail on two counts of child endangerment. She has not been officially charged.

Police said they are asking anyone with information on Lucas' whereabouts to please call 316-383-4661.
