WICHITA, Kansas -- A 25 year old Wichita man was the victim of an attempted aggravated robbery Friday night.
It happened around 9pm in the 6500 block of East Cottonwood.
Police say the victim was walking to a friend's house when he was approached by an unknown suspect wearing a mask and armed with a gun.
There was a brief scuffle before the victim took off running. That's when the suspect shot at the victim, wounding him in his buttocks.
The victim was taken by a friend to Via Christi Hospital on Harry where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
So far, no arrests have been made.
