GREENWOOD COUNTY, Kansas - Two people are dead, and one is in critical condition after a shooting in Greenwood County. Now police are looking for the suspect identified as Kevin Robert Welsh.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of 130th near Eureka after a burglary.
When deputies arrived, it was discovered that there were two people with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Another person suffered gunshot wounds. They were flown by air ambulance to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 35-year-old Kevin Robert Welsh of rural Toronto.
He's still on the loose and should be considered armed and dangerous. Multiple agencies from other nearby law enforcement agencies are assisting in the search.
Officials are searching for a tan Ford Explorer with veteran tags reading 20AXY.
