Chiefs draft Glenn Dorsey, and guard from Virginia in the first round

By Anthony Powell

New York, New York, April 26, 2008-It's going to be tougher to run and pass against the Kansas City Chiefs this upcoming season. The Chiefs grabbed All-American defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey with the 5th pick in Saturday's N-F-L draft.  The Chiefs also traded up in the first round, and with the 15th pick, chose guard Branden Albert, a guard from Virginia. The Chiefs have a total of 13 draft picks in this year's draft.

Here are the top five players taken: Jake Long, an offensive tackle from Michigan, is a Miami Dolphin. Chris Long, the son of former All-Pro Howie Long, and a defensive end from Virginia, went to the Saint Louis Rams. Matt Ryan, a quarterback from Boston College, goes to the Atlanta Falcons. Darren McFadden, a running back from Arkansas, is an Oakland Raider.

Kansas defensive back Aquib Talib has become the first K-U player drafted in the first round in 15-years, by going to Tampa Bay with the 20th pick. K-State wide receiver Jordy Nelson has gone in the second round to the Green Bay Packers.
