GREENSBURG, Kansas, June12, 2008 (NBC) -- Four-time NASCAR Cup champion Jeff Gordon was in Greensburg Thursday to break ground on new homes for Habitat for Humanity.  Gordon’s primary race sponsor, DuPont, made cash and product contributions toward Greensburg’s rebuilding efforts.

Gordon was touched by the devastation and recovery he saw in Greensburg, telling KSN that he hoped to “win this weekend and dedicate the win to Greensburg.”
