While flying aerial pipeline patrol across the Texas Panhandle, I sometimes like to play with what the locals call "dust devils" -- which might be described as miniature tornadoes. Flying through them in a light plane creates a buffet, or moderate turbulence. I took this photo north of Levelland, Texas.
