These pictures were taken on mine and my husbands way home on the 7th of June. This was about a week and a half after the tornado went threw Jewell. My husband is origanally from the area up there and we had gone up to see family, we took advantage of it on the way home and shot some pictures capturing the damage. The town is very small there are normally about 40- 50 houses there and just on the main road which is the highway there were probably 6 houses that were up for demolition due from the damage. The tasty freeze was the only resturaunt in Jewell and it was leveled. The Gas station is no longer there either. The water tower is missing, and the park was almost completely demolished as well.
