Andrea Herrera joined the KSN News team in November, 2019.

Andrea came to KSN from the Mile-High City home of the Denver Broncos but is originally from Cuernavaca Morelos, Mexico. She moved to the United States when she was four years old and called Denver home. 

She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Spring of 2018 with a Major in Convergent Journalism and a Minor in Digital Media emphasis in Motion Media. During her Junior semester at MSU Denver she interned with the Local Univision station where, six months before graduating, she was offered the job of Multimedia Producer. Herrera was nominated in May of 2019 for a Heartland Emmy Award on her featured news report, “Yoga Entre Humo”.

Herrera left Univision after two years and worked for Telemundo Denver as a part-time writer and producer before joining the KSN News family.

During her free time, Herrera enjoys spending time with her family, boyfriend and her furry kitten, Mika. She is also into photography and fashion, so if you see her on the streets taking pictures make sure to say hi!
