Derek Lytle joined KSN in May 2023 as a Multimedia Journalist. He is a Bay Area, California native, who spent his last seven years in Fort Worth, Texas.
Derek comes to us from Sports Illustrated (Fan Nation) where he did sideline reporting, covering the TCU Horned Frogs football run to the National Championship.
At Texas Christian University, Derek majored in Sports Broadcasting and minored in journalism.
Derek is excited to be in Wichita, with his girlfriend Haley, their dog Ghost and two cats. In his free time Derek enjoys catching a ball game, kayaking, and of course trying new barbecue spots.
