Jason Lamb

KSN Anchor / Reporter

Jason Lamb joined the KSN team in August of 2022 as the noon news anchor and a feature shooter/reporter. The Great Bend native grew up watching KSN News, and he moves to Wichita after living in Shawnee, KS for the last 20 years. He was a weekend sports anchor & sports reporter at WDAF-TV Fox 4 in Kansas City for 16 years. He also served as the Sports Director at KY3 in Springfield, MO.

While in Kansas City, Jason witnessed what he calls the “golden years” of KC sports. He covered an MLB All-Star Game, two World Series, the rise of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ run to Super Bowl LIV, Big 12 Basketball Championships, the Border War between Kansas and Missouri, multiple college football bowl games and a three Final Fours. He watched the Royals, Chiefs, KU Basketball, and Sporting KC all win championships. He’s also a huge fan of high school sports.

The 1990 Great Bend High School alum is excited about joining KSN’s “Hometown Team” of journalists. He and his wife Amy (from McPherson) have a son (Jayce) and a mini goldendoodle named Riggs. Jason is terrible at golf, but he still loves to play. His favorite aspect of the job is telling stories, and that’s what he plans to do at KSN. If you know anyone with a great story that needs to be shared, please contact Jason at jason.lamb@ksn.com or on Twitter @JasonLambKSN.
