Krystle Sherrell joined the KSN News team in September 2018 as a reporter/multimedia journalist.
Before joining KSN, Krystle reported for 5NEWS in Fayetteville-Fort Smith, Arkansas.
While at 5NEWS, Krystle covered headline stories including a deadly Oklahoma oil rig explosion, the shooting death of a Sebastian County deputy, the search and rescue of a missing K-9 officer and many natural disasters including wildfires and tornadoes.
She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas where she worked as an anchor, news and sports reporter for UATV, The Razorback Sports Network and Razorvision. While in college, Krystle interned and hosted for a sports radio show called The Ugly Uncle Show. With UATV, she earned numerous awards including a Mid America Emmy.
Krystle is from Maumelle, Arkansas, which is just outside of Little Rock. She is a former gymnast, cheerleader and long distance track runner.
Krystle is excited to be in Kansas and learn everything there is to know about the area. She is a Razorback at heart, but is excited to see what the sports teams in Kansas have to offer.
