The 2019 St. Jude Dream Home in Wichita is ready for visitors.
Designers and workers have been putting the finishing touches on the home this week. It is in time for the public open house this weekend.
Designers say they had fun putting some special touches around the house, especially since the money raised from the home goes to St. Jude.
“Just being able to help St. Jude and knowing that everything that we’ve put into this, time and love that we put into all the little details, we know it means the world to St. Jude,” said Katie Widler, designer.
Widler said her favorite parts of the home are the beams on the vaulted ceiling and the bar in the basement.
You can see the Dream Home for yourself. There will be an open house every Saturday and Sunday through May 12.
Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
The home is located at 2944 North Gulf Breeze Court in northwest Wichita. That is southeast of 29th and Hoover Road.
