I had the best time hanging out with Chris Hannemann, the owner and brewer for Apollo Fermentations! Chris explained that they make Kombucha which is a fermented tea that has a variety of health benifits. They’ve been in the space for a few years now but Chris himself has been brewing for the past seven years and they are always working on new recipes!
Their Kombucha comes in a variety of flavors and sizes, including refillable kegs for the really dedicated customers. While they do have a few fan favorites that never leave the menu, Chris shared that at any given time they have approximately 30 different flavors available!
The best part is that Chris and his small team at Apollo Fermentations are all local Kansans and get as many of their fresh ingredients as possible from local Kansas farms and their menu changes just based on what is available at that time.
