Angie Evans Owner and Resident Artist at Art House 310 is passionate about bringing art to our community. Opening the Art House was her first contribution, providing a space where artists can showcase their work and for the public to come in and enjoy their art. She will be offering art workshops as soon as it is safe to do so and she is always up for helping anyone in need, particularly if they are interested in art.
Personally Angie’s work was showcased on our show about a year about when the Mini Keeper of The Plains she painted was permanently placed at the Stryker Sports Complex for young athletes and community members to enjoy. Now she is welcoming in anyone and everyone who is interested in engaging in art to swing by the Art House and get to work!
Angie and her husband built the Community Art Box, a box housed outside of the Art House 310 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The message is so come by take what you need and leave what you can in the spirit of collectively participating in creating art. Currently the box is full of donated art items, so stop by and start creating! If you do have donations of new unopen art supplies, please reach out to Angie, she would love to coordinated a drop off and personally thank you for your help.
Check out the Art House 310 on Facebook and if you can stop by and create some art. Post it on Facebook and tag us we would love to see it!
