Dip nails are all the CRAVE right now so of course we had to check in with our beauty experts at Crave Beauty Academy to learn a little bit about the service. Nail Tech Student, Tricia Bolton walked us through the process explaining the importance of each step and even shared some of her quirky tips in ensuring the perfect look is achieved. Dip nails are similar to acrylic nails because the powder creates a hard surface which will last long and keep a clean manicured look for about 3 weeks. The method used at Crave to get the powder on your nail is very sanitary—they do not have clients actual dip their finger into the powder, instead they pour the powder over the nail. The same outcome is achieved, which is great. Tricia also explained the many colors that are available – even some fun designs! The last step is the clear coat that seals the deal and keeps your nails looking fresh and shiny for about 3 weeks. Visit Crave on Facebook to nook your next (affordable) nail appointment!
