Connie Redic is one of those people whose energy and smile can just make your day. Connie is an Assistant Principal at Andover High School and when I first met her in the fall of 2019 she was fighting cancer.
It was a beautiful fall night in 2019 at Andover High School when Connie’s students, of whom she had only met the year before when she started her position, displayed an emotional tribute to her at a high school football game letting her know that she was not alone in her fight.
She continued to fight and fight to be at the school with the students each and every day, but there were some days that her body just wouldn’t allow that happen. In early 2020, Connie Redic beat cancer and was 100% in remission! Then, Covid hit and everything was shut down and her compromised immune system was at risk.
In the segment, you can hear Connie talk about her journey over the past year and a half and how her students and family were there for her every step of the way.
She is an incredible person and administrator and I am so happy that she was able to share her story!
