Today’s Furry Friends segment featured a different type of furry friend, Bunny’s! The TNT in Bunny TNT stands for training, nurturing and therapy. Joan Gedraitis, the Executive Director of Bunny TNT, shared how they started out as a social and educational group for people that own rabbits before it’s evolved to what it is today. They currently have a little under 20 bunnies in their home, which doubles as their shelter, which means that Joan is working 12 hour days with her mom making sure that all of the bunnies are being taken care of properly. They are really stepping up to make sure these furry friends have all the care that they need. Their goal is get a shelter where they can keep all the bunnies so they don’t have to keep them all in their home and can get help in taking care of them. Joan shared that their Bunny TNT Facebook group is a great way to reach out if you are a bunny owner and have any questions or just want to get social with other owners of these adorable furry friends.
