Heather Giesen is a Kansas Native with big visions and and ambition to match. She first joined our show when we highlighted Giesen Greenhouse in Pratt. Heather and her husband welcomed us in to learn about the variety of plants, cacti, pots, stands etc. they offer the Pratt and surrounding communities.
Although being a new mom and owning Giesen Green House keeps her very busy Heather jumped at the opportunity to become part of the Incubator Project inside of The Workroom. We first introduced this concept when we heard from Janelle King, Owner of The Workroom. The incubator project allows a new business assistance in getting off the ground. Heather’s second business, GROW Giesen Plant Shop is located in the incubator space inside The Workroom. GROW has been there for a while and even through the pandemic has lived up to its name and is literally bout GROWing the space.
Heather is heavy on the hunt for her next (and hopefully permanent) home for GROW. She aims to bring a new concept to Wichita which mixes plant life, great cocktails, entertainment and relaxing vibes and thrives off of connecting the community.
Over the next few weeks Heather has some really cool vents happening I highly encourage you look in to. The Plant Hop is in collaboration with local business, which is the theme for Heather, she is a connector and hopes this event will introduce you to plant parent life and maybe even encourage you to visit a new local business nearby.
