Our #KeepersOnParade segments aim to tell the stories behind the beautiful mini Keeper of the Plains statues sprinkled across Wichita. The mini keeper statue tat we focused today sits comfortably outside of the Fidelity Bank branch located in Downtown Wichita. I had the opportunity to hear from Anthony McSwain, VP of Digital Marketing for Fidelity Bank. He was the perfect person to share about the statute, bring a unique perspective as not only the mastermind behind the design we see on the statue but also as an employee that gets to see the statue everyday on the way into work. Anthony shared with me the design was heavily influence by Blackbear Bosin, the artist who created the original Keeper of the Plains. Anthony and the Fidelity Bank Family are passionate about paying homage to Blackbear Bosin and the community. He is proud of the way the statue represents the community and is also passionate about community members learning about the design. Please visit their website to learn what each element of the the design represents: www.fidelitybank.com/keeperoftheplains
