Kid’s Corner: Maya Angelou Mural Artists

Real Men Real Heroes has done it again. They are known for providing opportunities for youth in our community to make life long memories through advocating for involvement and building self confidence among many other life skills. This time the is mentorship focused group has afforded young children the opportunity to contribute to a beautiful mural on the side of a public building.

Durrell joined me to share about the experience he and other Future Heroes experienced while join local artist Priscella Brown to paint as mural of Amaya Angelou on the side of the Maya Angelo Branch of the Wichita Public Library. He shared what the words meant to him and how much he has learned about Maya Angelou in this process.
