Gardening season is approaching and it’s about time to start planting things like potatoes and onions! Jason at Stutzmans says St. Patrick’s Day is a great indicator of when we can begin planting certain items in the ground.

He tells us potatoes are actually grown from seed potatoes. They are basically smaller potatoes, kept at a higher temperature and humidity, so they can sprout! And Jason says onions can withstand the colder weather so it’s ok to start planting those as well.
