Located in Courtland, KS about one mile south of Highway 36 is a proud community full of supportive businesses with the intent of growing their local Main Street and sharing their unique irrigation system. Today’s #MuralMonday is located in this district among businesses that call restored buildings home. We recently featured one of them, Irrigation Ales, and learned how the irrigation system in this area allows community members access to clean water.

This mural was designed by Tim Leaf and painted by Pat Mikesell. Although it is a bit faded, it still proudly represents the ag-focused community located in the middle of Kansas Bostwick Irrigation district surrounded by canals that deliver water from the Republican River by way of nearby Lovebell Lake.
