We love showcasing different talented artists that have taken their hobby and turned it into a full on profession! That is exactly what Bobbie Plumb, the creator of Cedar Hill Pottery works, did with her amazing mugs and different items. As you can hear in the segment, Bobbie started just a year ago and she has taught herself everything by just watching videos on the internet! She makes mostly mugs and tumblers because those are the biggest things she can make, but she also makes bowls and different specialized items. What I loved about her mugs is that she’ll etch different song lyrics or motivational quotes in them to make them extra special! Bobbie shared that she doesn’t do a lot of custom work but sometimes people do reach out for gifts and she is happy to do those.
