What’s Cooking: Pumpkin Patch Marshmallow Bites

Good Day Kansas

Halloween is right around the corner! Why not start the sweet Halloween themed treats now? Today my easy recipe is sure to a few things: one, make a mess; two, put a smile on your face and three, taste delicious!

To get started you will need: marshmallows, crushed Oreos, candy corn pumpkins and melted chocolate. First step is to simply dunk the marshmallow in the warm chocolate so about 50% of it is covered in chocolate. Next, press it into the crunched Oreos so it is now covered in chocolate and Oreos. Next, add a dab of melted chocolate to the top and lastly press the pumpkin topper on the top. there you have it: a messy, cute delicious treat to share.

We were graciously welcomed by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Wichita to make these fun treats in their kitchen. If you or your family or co workers are able to volunteer to cook meals for families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House please visit their website to sign up or get more information!
