Good Day Kansas

On today’s On The Sideline segment the Good Day Kansas Team visited with Court Dyke of the Wichita Fencing and HEMA Academy. Wichita Fencing and HEMA Academy is a small non-profit fencing academy with the goal to teach fencing to everyone that wishes to learn. The WFHA teaches and competes both in epee and Longsword styles of fencing and have students ranging from 10 yrs – 70 yrs old.  Court and the WFHA leadership aim to provide academy that instructs the fundamentals of the sport while encouraging and inspiring students to problem solve and strategize. Jillian gave it her best shot as she went head to head with Court and quickly realized there is more to fencing than she expected.
