WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A 22-year-old man was charged with the deaths of two Wichita teens.

Dontenize L. Kelly was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in the deaths of 18-year-old Kaylah Blackmon and 17-year-old Michael Beasley.

Beasley was found dead on Feb. 2 and Blackmon was found dead on Feb. 4. Through the investigation, the Wichita Police Department said Kelly was involved. Police said he was arrested on Friday evening without incident.

“It appears that the suspect, in this case, has been previously convicted of a felony charge,” said Chief Gordon Ramsay.

Bond for Kelly is set at $1 million. His next court date is scheduled for March 1.
