HAMILTON COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) – An investigation is underway after the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office received a report of a body found four miles west of Syracuse.
The body was found Tuesday around 1:20 in the afternoon by BNSF railroad workers who say they found the decomposed body near the railroad tracks.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigations was called in to assist with the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and time of death.
