WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police said foul play isn’t suspected after a body was found near the Arkansas River Sunday morning.
Police say a person saw a man near the Murdock Street bridge by Riverside Park. He was found lying on the ground next to the tree and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified by police as 59-year-old Jody Altum of Wichita.
The coroner’s report is still pending.
