WICHITA, Kansas – City of Wichita officials updated the response Monday to the recent winter storm.

Over the weekend, city crews cleared primary streets with a full fleet of 50 plow trucks.

There were 100 plow truck drivers working rotating, 12-hour shifts. City crews were able to cover 1,500 miles of snow emergency routes.

Secondary and school routes were treated Sunday afternoon.
