New details have been released following the death of a young Wellington woman.

Sierra Craft-McGee, 26, was found dead inside her home May 24. Her boyfriend, and the father of one of her children, Bradley Aue has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree reckless murder.

Court documents reveal Craft-McGee died of severe blunt force injuries, suspected to be caused by Aue.

Investigators say when they arrived on scene they found the 34-year-old Aue outside of the house and covered in blood.

Surveillance video shows Aue smoking a cigarette as he knocked on his neighbor’s door and asked her to call 911.

Officials say the case is still under investigation and charges could change if blood spatter reports show the homicide was premeditated.
