Emporia police arrest two suspects in string of armed robberies

EMPORIA, Kan. (KSNW) – Emporia police have arrested two suspects after a string of armed robberies around town.

Police arrested Gustavo Perez-Garcia, 36, and Daniel Mclead, 22, both of Emporia for robbing a Casey’s General Store in Emporia twice on Wednesday morning and Sunday morning.

Police believe the two also robbed Angelitas Fashion, 328 Commercial, Sunday evening.

Police say the stores lost cash and merchandise in the armed robberies.
