Former Valley Center police officer Thomas Delgado was in court Friday to learn his fate after pleading guilty to numerous crimes back in May.
On May 25 Delgado pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a child, one count of sexual battery, one count of official misconduct, one count of attempted sexual battery and one count of harassment by using a telecom device.
According to Dan Dillon with the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office, Delgado was sentenced to 32 months in prison.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 25 years after his release from prison.
