Four arrested for warrant violations according to police

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police said two men and two women were arrested for warrants violations on Thursday afternoon. It happened around 2 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Grove. 

A tip to Crime Stoppers led investigators to the home. The tipster expressed concerns about the behavior of a 32-year-old man. The tipster said the man had a high-powered rifle. 

Police, SWAT, and K-9 team responded to the home. Six people were inside. Four were arrested. A rifle and handgun were recovered.

Two men, ages 32 and 34, both were booked for warrants violations. The 32-year-old man was booked for possession of a firearm by a felon and drug paraphernalia. 

Two women, ages 21 and 35, were arrested for warrants violations.
