Jonathan Hernandez pleads guilty to battery

Jonathan Hernandez has been sentenced to one year of probation after pleading guilty to battery.

The battery case stems from an incident in February when Hernandez struck the 6-year-old son of his girlfriend. The physical contact resulted in redness and swelling on the boy’s chest. 

According to the office of the district attorney, standard conditions of probation were imposed. That includes required employment, prohibition against consuming drugs or alcohol and he will not be allowed to leave the state without permission of his probation officer. 

Hernandez is also required to complete a court-approved parenting class.

Jonathan Hernandez is the father of Lucas Hernandez, the 5-year-old boy who went missing in February. They body of the boy was discovered in rural Harvey County in May.
