A 16-year-old Kansas boy drove a pickup truck through Erie High School causing damage to multiple parts of the building.
Around 11:30 Saturday night school officials say a St. Paul teen rammed a truck through the front door of the high school.
As the truck traveled it caused damage to door ways, walls, gates, furniture and an antique soda fountain bar.
The truck was stopped at the entry to the technical shops inside the building.
Erie police arrested the young man at the scene and say charges will be filed with the Neosho County Attorney’s office.
The schools says they’ll have professional cleaners in the building today so class continues as normal on Monday.
No one was hurt in the incident.
