WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Police Department (WPD) is investigating after a man was stabbed in downtown Wichita late Thursday morning.
According to the WPD, officers responded to reports of a cutting shortly before 12 p.m. in the 400 block of E. 2nd Street N.
Upon arrival, officers found a 36-year-old male who reported being stabbed by an unknown male.
According to Sedgwick County Dispatch, the victim was transported to a local hospital with potentially critical head injuries.
Investigators discovered that the stabbing took place nearby in the 400 block of N. Topeka St.
The investigation is ongoing.
