Harper, the missing puppy from Woodard Mercantile, was returned to the store on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, they let Harper out behind the store to use the bathroom. When they didn’t see their puppy, that is when they got worried.
“We thought she had walked off. We started checking our surveillance cameras. We have a red minivan that pulled up right at 2 o’clock. He got out of the car. She was right there to greet him, and he picked her up and put her back in the car and he drove out and he did not come in the store,” said Leslye Woodard, Woodard Mercantile owner.
