Pizza delivery driver robbed; five arrested

Wichita police said a Papa John’s pizza delivery driver was robbed Monday afternoon while delivering pizza. It happened around 1 p.m. near Bayley and Terrace in southeast Wichita.

Police said the woman was delivering pizza and wings when she was approached by two suspects. One brandished a gun. The food was taken, and they fled. 

A Wichita Public Works employee witnessed the incident and called police after the suspects entered a home. 

Five teens, ages 16 to 17, were arrested for drug, weapon, traffic, and robbery charges.
