Wichita police said three men have been arrested in connection to six robberies that occurred late Tuesday into early Wednesday.
The robberies took place starting around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday night and extended into 3 a.m.
Police said the robberies occurred in the 800 block of East Douglas, 2600 block of South St. Francis, 2800 block of South Emporia, 100 block of North Mosley, 3000 block of East Douglas, and Hydraulic and Kellogg.
Three suspects driving a dark colored SUV approached several people at gunpoint and demanded property. Money, jewelry, credit cards, and electronics were taken.
In the last robbery, the possible victims or witnesses flagged down an officer who followed the suspects.
Police caught the vehicle at Douglas and Hydraulic. A short pursuit occurred before the suspect stopped in the 2500 block of East Waterman. The suspect fled.
Police arrested the driver, a 24-year-old man, and two passengers, a 25-year-old man and a 27-year-old man.
Officers recovered property belong to victims from the robberies. A CO2 gun was also recovered.
Right now, the investigation into the robberies is still ongoing.
Police are looking for the people who flagged down the officer. They left the location before police could return. They are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111 or detectives at 268-4407.
