Police: Man could be responsible for 17 crimes in Wichita

A 29-year-old Wichita man is in custody after his arrest at the scene of one burglary, and police believe he may be responsible for 16 more crimes.

On Sunday, officers responded to a burglary-in-progress call at All Metal Recycling in the 800 block of East 21st Street. Officers located and arrested 29-year-old Callen Rose. 

Through the investigation, it was determined Rose was possibly involved with 16 other cases regarding burglaries, trespasses, possession of drugs, theft, and unlawful use of financial cards.

Rose was booked into jail for possession of narcotics, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana, residential burglary, non-residential burglary, theft, and destruction to property.
